After a long wait, we're thrilled to announce that we're officially open and ready to welcome you to a host of amazing events. Easter Extravaganza is coming to Sewerby Hall. Join our friends at Rusticus for immersive adventures with the Three Musketeers, Heroes and Villains, and The Knights of the Round Table. Come along and meet the zoo residents you could even make fruity kebabs for them. Enjoy multi-sports, archery and much more with the Active Communities team. Get crafty with nature with Wildcats, and don't miss Mr Bubbles' magical Easter show packed with magic, music, games, and giggles. Hop over to the Orangery for professional face painting. The day features England's number one jousting team from Nottingham, who will bring approximately 20 jousters and their horses, including the Black Knight and Sir Michael of York. Saturday, 5 April, 11am - 1pmImmerse yourself in this hands on floral workshop hosted by artisan florist Peony & Primrose. Learn the craft of floral basket making and take home your very own. Abundant seasonal Spring blooms in varieties of colour, texture and depth will be available for you to learn and develop your floristry skills. A truly unique workshop in the most beautiful of settings, and we look forward to welcoming you. This exclusive session promises floral fun and an enjoyable experience. Experience the 60th international Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition, on loan from the Natural History Museum. The exhibition captures fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breath-taking diversity of the natural world. Saturday, 3 May - Sunday, 13 July 2025 The hugely popular Wildlife Photographer Experience days are returning. A truly captivating full day experience giving the very best of wildlife photography on the East Coast led by award-winning photographer Steve Race. This is a fantastic opportunity for an exclusive viewing of the Wildlife Photographer Exhibition, photography workshop, lunch, and a full afternoon at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
