The Pleasure Gardens will have a continuous and interactive light show as well as a new theme with a chance to embark on an adventure and meet a host of cheerful festive characters along the way! Excitement is mounting as festive characters from far-off snowy lands make their way to the clifftop to prepare for the Ball. But they need your help – will the Woodcutter get all his work done in time, will the Snow Fairy have the decorations ready and will the Sewerby Snowman find his favourite party outfit! |
 Inside the HouseStep into our festive exhibition and discover the surprising story of the snowman! From cheeky doodles in medieval manuscripts to starring roles in winter festivals, greeting cards, and even adverts for toothpaste—this chilly character has been melting hearts for centuries. Perfect for curious kids and grown-ups alike, it’s a magical journey through time that celebrates one of the season’s most beloved symbols. Come explore how the snowman became a true icon of winter! To complement the exhibition, there will also be a festive trail and festive activities around the house. |
 | | Food and drinkFood and drink will be available until 9pm from the Clock Tower Café, Stables Pizza Company, Greek Treat and Peaky Grinders. The courtyard marquee will house a licenced bar, from Louisianna Bars. Refreshments will be available to purchase along the route as well as enjoying toasted marshmallows at an additional charge. |
