We
were SO fortunate to stay at Rosewood Cottage both before and over
Christmas 2025. Immediately we arrived - after a stressful and very
wet drive - we relaxed into the warmth of the cottage.. It was my
friend’s first time and she declared it a “real home from home”.
Alison is a very thoughtful host leaving goodies for us to enjoy but
also adding a touch of Christmas spirit to the house that added to
the joy of being there. The kitchen is well stocked for festive
cooking and incudes a dishwasher! The lounge has two sofas which are
very comfortable and a good sized dining table. Both double beds are
very comfortable so coupled with the fresh sea air we slept well. The
cottage is well positioned for short and longer trips along the
coast. Do visit The Boathouse at North Landing if you like seafood as
it’s exceptional. I declare the crab particularly as the best ever!
Also Salt on the Harbour isa great place for lunch or dinner with
wonderful sea views of Bridlington Harbour. Great food and courteous
service too! Thank you, Alison, for sharing Rosewood Cottage with us.
