What a truly lovely cottage, small but perfectly equipped and laid out, and Alison couldn't be more welcoming. Communication was excellent and she went above and beyond to ensure everything we might need had been provided, even before we'd thought of it ourselves! There's a well thought out and quality feel throughout and (even to my critical eye) the place was spotlessly clean. The garden is lovely to sit out in, with seating in different areas. The dishwasher was an unexpected bonus. The beds are comfortable with big, boofy pillows, and what a treat to find a shower with great water pressure! The location is as quiet as promised. As a base for exploring the area, it is absolutely perfectly situated, especially so for Bempton Cliffs. The midsummer spectacle of seabirds around this area is simply stunning!! If we do manage to get back to see it all again, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere other than Alison's Rosewood Cottage.
